Newcomers Ride - Saturday, July 11

The Newcomers Ride is a couple of short weeks away. New or not, don't miss this annual NYCC favorite.

Date: Saturday July 11
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Place: Central Park Boat House parking lot
(just north of the 72nd street transverse, on the east side of the park)

There will be rides for all levels: A, B & C (check the Web site: http://www.nycc.org/rides_day.shtml to determine which ride level to choose.) When in doubt, go one level below. This is your ride! Schmooze with new and veteran fellow club members on this mystery ride. We'll ride to a secret spot in N.J. for an alfresco lunch. Bring a sunny attitude and money for lunch. Of course, we’ll have drawings for prizes, including a club jersey. Check the NYCC message board for any last minute changes or weather cancellations.

July Monthly Meeting / Social - Freestyle! The "No Program" Program

Date: Tuesday, July 14, 2009
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Cocktail Hour: 6:00 p.m.
Dinner (optional) at 7:00 p.m.
Place: Annie Moore's Pub and Restaurant, 50 East 43rd St. (near Grand Central)
Buffet dinner (optional): including grilled chicken, rice, vegetable lasagna, vegetables, and shepherd's pie and green salad + coffee/tea. $23, including tax/tip (cash only).

Come to the July meeting and catch up with your peers. Enjoy a free-form evening of eating, drinking and socializing with cycle club members off the bike. No program, no lectures, no lengthy speeches. Guaranteed!
