East Coast Greenway Alliance

The East Coast Greenway Alliance is the national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe and non-motorized trail through cities and towns along the eastern seaboard for 3000 miles between the Canadian border and Key West, FL. In New York, the greenway consists of two routes winding south from Connecticut through Westchester County, the Bronx, and Manhattan that then converge in lower Manhattan and utilize ferry or PATH service across the Hudson River to New Jersey. An active committee in New York works for in-state improvements to the existing interim route and completion of off-road portions.
